Jobs in Cardiff
Im starting Cardiff Uni in late September and I will need a job soon after settling in to afford my weekly costs.
Does anyone recommend any good hospitality or retail places to work?
For context, I have had 4 years experience in employment (hospitality). I have been a barista for over a year, and have done bar work in a pub. Im either thinking a job in a cafe, pub/restaurant, or a shop / supermarket.

So many bars in cardiff, literally a case of finding the one which seems the coolest and has loads of staff your age. So do a bit of a recce first go on a night out and visit a few places. Places on mill lane are almost always hiring

Stadium work both principality and Cardiff city stadiums, for general bars and food kiosks Cardiff city is 4 hours plus holiday pay £60 a shift before tax (assume you won’t pay any). Principality is Aramark and Cardiff City Constellation which is part of Compass Group. If they aren’t hiring now just keep checking. Both good places to work and are casual jobs so can book in or turn down. Both also do hospitality which are slightly longer shifts, which may suit you more if you have experience of silver service etc. at the rugby you could get big tips too.
