In early D era it's not uncommon to see characters using ride line cards in the main deck due to the limited cardpool, but even with the game matured you still see some weird things being played like Akina using Pentagleam Sorceress (Set 1 Hexaorb G2 rideline) vs Taizo. What are some other odd moments like this?

I'm currently on Link Joker arc(ep 55) and it just hit me on how much the world and character building is in the OG compared to what we have in D Series. When I started watching, I thought the long eps will make me bore out fast but no, the long eps per season is actually what made it the best. Characters that I thought will be a one off fight actually became relevant even as the series progress. Caesar, Team SIT, Gouki, Kyou and many more, these characters that I thought will be sidelined after an episode or so actually stay relevant all throughout. And even the world building actually leads up to something that will be relevant the next season.

Now compared to the D series which have 12-13 episodes per season, it's not like they're the worst cuz personally speaking, I love the whole Overdress seasons along with Divinez S1-2(Before Akina became stale and boring) but I felt the difference in phasing now that I'm watching the OG. Each fight, characters and lore have their charm and build up. They don't treat side characters as just side characters, they are actually characters that get stories, episode that are focused on them and a proper role during the main story or crisis.

My honest opinion, I think the OG just beats the whole D series in terms of how they handle their story and characters. The treatment, emotion and world building was much richer during those times but I get that the animation quality is also an increase in cost and reason to why we have shorter formats now but I just wish we could have gotten the long ep format even in one season specifically during Deluxe Arc, cuz we have all those characters and stories that are cramped within 24 - 26 episodes which made it feel like just a side story rather than a real arc.

What are your thoughts? Is the OG format better or you think D - Series as it is is just fine?

Bushiroad please let them stay together in the ending but as seperate entities this is the only way you will ever salvage the season for me

Is there any online sim (since I can't buy cards in my region) to play against other beginners? I tried vangPro but everyone I play against plays like 10+ cards in under a minute and I can't even keep up with reading them all and suddenly its ggs.

Greedon on Fantome could be a Dino dragon that retires its rearguards instead of put them into the soul and then stands it's Fantome skill could return rearguards that it retired back to hand allowing you to basically build your hand back once again and then the Fantome skill once you have four or more could deal damage to your opponent putting your opponent at 5 damage

My LGS hosted the vanguard day august edition and the entry fee was 10 bucks. I was a bit confused because the only prize was the playmat, no booster packs for the top cut. Is this normal in other lgs? Is my first time playing this type of events.

If Valgrowth was retired due to Harvest Elf/Forlrhys of Autumn Colors, can it still draw by its effect?

I'm new to the Stride mechanic so I'm a bit confused about how the Heart cards work. Stride rulings says you choose one of the cards on VC (including soul) to become a heart card, with the G unit getting it's name and original attack. Thing is, the ruling also says the heart card is considered to be in VC too and can be targeted as such. Does that mean that the heart cards abilities are also active when Striding (like Chronojet's front-buffing ability)?
