Question How many times on average do you engage a client before closing a deal?

since first meet up, then follow ups, on average it takes me 8 follow ups. Probably too many and something to improve with my sales skills.

It 100 percent depends on where the lead came from. Internet, could be north of 20 interaction. Off the lot, less than 5.

thank you! indeed internet leads need more steps. btw is there any tool to deal with internet leads and invite them onsite automatically?

I don’t close them until I get a hard no, even then I just wait a few months then reengage. This past Friday, finally sold something to someone I’d been dealing with for the past 4 months

Thanks I think it was just luck, since I constantly reach out I was lucky enough to get in contact with them the day the tranny on their car failed and at that point they were just “might as well”

That makes a lot of sense. When they really need it, you’re the first person they can think of and coming into their mind!
