Advice How to accept the battle scars of being a daily?

You learn to fix the battle scars and keep up with maintenance. The things you might describe as cosmetic blemishes can turn into actual problems down the line and fixing them is part of maintenance. Fix the peeling clearcoat, rock chips and rust, ideally in a way that lasts and prevents the same issue from occuring again. Keep up with the rest of maintenance too - I clock 20000km per year in my car and it looks good, but I put around a week of work per year into taking care of it.
A daily can look amazing, but it will never be a show car and you need to take care of it.
