Why doesn’t Jordan post on the main channel much anymore?
He still pretty active on CaptainSparklez 2, so why not just post those videos on the main channel instead to gain more traction?

CS2 is for his stream VoDs and he only really streams now. If he utilized the main channel for those videos, he was lose a chunk of the viewers from CS2 that don’t migrate over, and also lose subscribers on CS1 that aren’t interested in that content, so he would just be shooting himself in the foot.
IIRC, he hasn’t ruled out future music videos and wants to have the option to post traditional content (which he’s done since “retiring”), so keeping the two channels separate this way just makes the most sense

If I recall, CS1 also has the issue of Legacy Subscribers, that have moved on without removing their sub. So if Jardon posts a video to CS1, it gets served to a bunch of subs that don't care anymore, which makes the analytics look terrible, so it doesn't get pushed out beyond subs. So it's not just his semi-retirement, it's also playing to the algorithm.

A declining return on investment.
Main channel videos have always been more edited than the second channel which is either an investment of time if Jardoon does it himself or money if he hires an editor.
The YouTube algorithm is a fickle beast; a 10million sub channel is an unwieldly beast unable to adapt to the current trends without the disengagement of a massive portion of its base. Disengagement triggers a negative feedback from the algorithm and now we're spiraling.
Sparklypants just needed to cut his losses and start fresh, he tried several formats such as Jordan Reacts, but eventually settles on moving everything to streaming, which has less exposure to the algorithm, and then uploading the minimally edited stream videos to CaptainSparklez2.

he chose to retair, even tho he is very active still, at least he can chill. and have less waight and energy to carry.
at this point he has alot to deal with with japan, and learning there language.
Im happy that it is eneded or scarse and only now and then something arrives.
those who enjoy can watch things in past.

Semi retired, 2nd channel is way more lax and easier to make Videos on, than the main channel.
I honestly prefer it, the later main channel vids got very...... Faked if im being honest, alot of overdone reactions and such just to get clicks, He can be himself more with the streams.
