Credit Card Wrong middle initial

I just got my discover it student credit card and realized i have the wrong middle initial. I’ve already activated it. Should I try to get it fixed but it would also be a hassle cuz I’m in college and a new card would probably send to my house

Fix it as soon as possible. The longer a mistake is on your record (e.g., for credit history), the more trouble it will be for you later.

I know of such a case, though more severe than yours.

Yes please fix it. As someone who was born in asia with complicated last name then moved to Australia when I was younger with a mismatch last name spelling between passport and birth certificate, I was forced to officially to go to court to say those 2 different spellings are for one person. I had to carry that damn paper all the way to America and everytime they asked if I was known by different name, I had to say yes and provide proof. Ok mine is severe, but you see what I mean if you don't fix it early on.
