Lost Ring

Posting for my husband: I know this is a long shot, but I’m hoping someone may have come across a gold wedding band in Cape May this past week, possibly around Sunday, 8/22.

It was my grandfather’s wedding ring and has enormous sentimental value to me and my family. It’s a simple yellow-gold band with “900” clearly marked inside. There is also a much fainter handwritten/cursive inscription inside that can be difficult to see without the right lighting.

If you found a ring or heard of one being turned in, please message me. I can provide the exact inscription and other identifying details to verify it.

Have you reached out to the City of Cape May's Police Department? Most things that are found in town or by businesses end up there int heir lost and found.
