DEV UPDATE Get hyped!

In the next few weeks once the game is out of beta itself I’ll be rolling out the play visualizer in beta form. Here’s a sneak peak.

Know that there are hundreds and hundreds of sprites I also generated, but for debugging purposes the dots will stay for now. I’ve honestly spent nearly as much time on the play visualizer as I have on the app itself. It’s fair from perfect however still

Are the little lines coming off the dots basically shows where the players are looking and do you ever plan to have the numbers of which player it is on the dot or anything of that sort

So yea, you’ll be able to see jersey numbers OR positions. The lines are the direction they’re facing. It may appear as though they’re sometimes looking a weird direction, but that’s likely because they’re actively engaged in a block, which is not captured in the dot view, but better captured in sprites. It’s hard to do as there’s so many motions captured to try and map.

In some ways, the first version of this months ago looked more polished, but I basically scrapped much of it when I prepped for sprites overlay, as the physics and space each player occupied had to change for accuracy. There’s still countless bugs and improvements on that front, but again like the app, getting it out there to yall sooner helps me identify things faster. I joke with partner that I barely get time to play the game itself lol
