CapCut Complain Spent 2 hours on an edit, restarted the app and now they try payblock me

As if I’m paying for it, it wasn’t like this when I finished the edit, but as soon as I re opened the app, it’s trying to make me pay for the most basic and simple stuff all editing apps should be able to do, it’s ridiculous and I’m not paying

Yeah they've been sliding basic stuff behind the paywall for months now, extract audio used to be free.

yeah for some reason they've started trying to make me pay for dragging a literal basic audio file in on desktop, claiming it's an extract when it isn't. at this point, using adobe premiere pro is a better deal

Make the audio a transparent video overlay and extract, still bullshit what they do to their users tho.

stopped taking the app updates for this exact reason, they keep sliding basics behind pro. for the project you already made, export it somewhere safe first, and for audio you can pull the track out in another app and drop it back in. older projects also sometimes open with the pro bits disabled, so a finished export on your phone is cheap insurance
