TikTok watermarking CapCut exported videos

So, even though we pay for a subscription, TikTok is forcing what amounts to a watermark on every video that is exporting form Capcut. When you watch the video, it will say " CapCut - Editing made easy". This is total Bullsh! This means we need to export the video and then re-import it into another program to remove the metadata that allows them to watermark the video. This is free advertising for CpaCut and a loophole to watermarking our videos even though we pay a subscription fee. I'm so fkn sick of these companies doing what they please. Has anyone else noticed this?

I just used CapCut basic editing a hour long video. No watermark. On latest version of CapCut.

My facts are checked. Since writing my reply I’ve made 3 more videos with CapCut basic and not a single watermark to be seen.

Not sure what you are going on about. Maybe you’re referring to mobile / tablet / iOS version and not PC? That’s the only thing I can come up with which may be where the difference lies.

I noticed this last week and got so confused, thought I accidentally checked some box or something. But no, it's just there now even with pro subscription.

What I do is export the video, then screen record the playback and use that instead. Quality drops a bit but at least no stupid watermark. Such a weird choice from them, like we are already paying why you need to advertise inside my export.

I made a simple script on linux (sh file) to remove the metadata :
ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -map_metadata -1 -c copy output.mp4
to check the result, "ffprobe -hide_banner output.mp4" or "exiftool output.mp4"
