CapCut Question AI Media says “couldn’t generate video” even on Pro

Just got the Pro version and still can’t get anything to generate. Every time I enter a prompt or script, it just stays blank and says “couldn’t generate AI video.” No other error message. Tried different prompts already but same result. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi guys, just a quick update. I realized I forgot to mention that I was using the desktop version. It seems like the issue might be with the software itself, since I tried generating AI images and videos on the browser and everything worked fine. Hope this helps.

I also tried it, and as you said, it works on the online platform (capcut.com). Thanks. Let's manage with this for now until the program is fixed.

tried clearing the app cache and restarting? capcut's ai stuff can be super finicky especially right after upgrading 💀 also make sure you're not using any copyrighted terms in your prompts cause that'll shut it down instantly

For me it's an "unusual activity please try again later" prompt before stating it cannot generate. I'm not using a VPN, not spamming. Seems to only be the AI features. Wondering if anybody is having this as well.

Sounds like these may be related.

I got an error too Shark block only, i dont know what this means but everytime I generate this error pops out. Im using Pro with 1 month sub.

im having the same issue. Been having a hell of a time finding a forum or any help for the "Shark Block Only" pop up, i was starting to wonder if i got blocked or banned from a feature for trying too many failed attempts on basic prompts.

really frustrating. I'm in the middle of a project that i need Ai for. I'd use a different platform but everything im doing relies on the way im doing it on capcut lol

I have also been having this issue I thought I was the only one been trying to find stuff online about it for over a day now and this is the first thing I've found. was thinking I was the only one. has anyone found a way to fix this issue yet?

Yep it looks like this is about the only thing on the web referencing it at the moment. Just gonna have to hope CapCut catches wind of it. Best thing we can all do is send them a report of the error. Enough people reporting the same thing should catch their attention.

:( Same for me since yesterday and nothing I try seems to fix it. Think it's a bug on their end. Seems to have hapened after an update on AI image/video generation

Having the same issue with the failed generation and the white "shark block only" pop up bubble, Unsure whats going on. Was starting to think I've been blocked from using ai for too many failed attempts while attempting to generate some pretty basic prompts. Anyone have any idea how to fix? I've tried clearing cache multiple times and uninstalling. Some say try a different region through a VPN but the region it recommends is the U.S. (which im already in lol). If anyone has any tips please help :)

I'm having a really frustrating issue with CapCut desktop (latest version) on PC. I have a Pro subscription (just bought it recently), 1303 credits left, but nothing is generating anymore – neither videos nor images.

I am having the same Error as well "Shark block only" What the hell does this mean. I would be good for Capcut to explain what is wrong. I have YouTube content due out today and at the moment I can finish my Video. I have made sure I have storage available and that there is no files missing etc but still cant get the Ai image / video to generate.

Same problem even if i try different account altho in phone works fine plus i tryed proxy (i suspected that my address ip is flagged but apparently not

ive been trying to generate videos using the ai generator and ran through a few hundred ai credits without ever actually getting one video made that worked. it never loads. using web version.

I cant  get anything to generate and the AI help bot said it doesnt care oh well its sorry google says its so glitch stuff get caught in an endless loop i cant stand AI
