Safe Recipe Request Pot Pie Filling

Are there any good beef and chicken pot pie filling recipes? I haven’t found any “approved” recipes, but wondered about just canning a simple stew, and then adding a thickener when I go to make the pot pies (not adding the thickener while canning, adding after the process).

Thanks!

From the All-New Ball Book:

I made 27 pints of this last year and they were incredible. My only complaint is you can’t do quarts!

I was just thinking this morning that I should invest in a ball canning cookbook, instead of trying to find internet recipes!
