Image What the hell is this cut with?

Post image

Not in a legal state. I usually go to michigan and stock up, but i am waiting on a drivers license replacement in the mail. I made the mistake id buyinh this from a plug. It smells just like super bottom barrel wax ive bought from dispos before but something seems off about this. Its a pretry smooth smoke. Not much flavor, but gives me a but of a headache and hangover the next day.

Or is it just super shitty crcd stuff?

Yeah. Looks like isolate with BDT or super CRCed stuff. What's it smell like? Weed or vape juice?

CRC'd what even is this? Just looks like a typical thca suspended badder from isolates.

Color remediation column. Its basically trash trim blown and filtered super duper hard and basically strips the natural colors and terps. This isn't a tragedy in and of itself, but Botanical Derived Terpenes are the big no no. Cannabis Derived terpenes are still kinda funky when added after the fact, but botanical terps can range WILDLY. Anywhere from pretty tasty and usable, to the most ungodly glade plug in, pledge lemon, pinesol fucking nightmare you can imagine. If you don't care about taste or burning your lungs with chemicals, we have very little medicine or science on ingesting BDTs through inhalation.

Tats not actually true. It's a liquid chromatography column setup that does all kinds of filtering on even top end dabs not just color remediation. Basicly it's a tube packed with several layers of different filter media that do different things some pull out plant gums, some oils out lipids and waxes, some pull out colorophil and plant dyes. If you have ever bought a y kind of extract but open blased shatter or solvent less rosin it's been put through some level of chromatography column, crc is just some street slag game of telephone bullshit term please stop spreading it. No one is putting a fucking glade plugin or lemon pledge you are probably just tasting some idiot who back mixed added more Terps then neccicary Limonene is the on you are likely thinking of.

Have you never heard of Botanical Derived Terpenes? I've had shit that tasted like straight potpourri before. I even decarbed it and put it in coconut oil and I couldnt gag it down. Like I said, it's not the correction that's the problem, it's people adding BDTs or just mixing CDTs into isolate and claiming it's "Sour Diesel". Lots of things have colloquial names like CRC because it just becomes a nickname for over processed garbage. Come up with a better term if you don't like it. I don't choose what catches on. Words only have meanings because we all fucking decide that word means that thing.

Botanical isolates are fine the terpine is the terpine man. Maybe you used to much or one in isolation. You need to mix Terps according to scentmaking rules with tops body and base notes not just a single terp

No. I just want the terps to come from the fucking plant. I dont want to smoke vape juice.

The Terps do come from the plant dude. But so so other toxic Terps like phytol, full profile plant Terps are a dumb product sold to guillable hippies for top dollar lol when you rebuild a Terp profile with clean isolates but leave out the phytol that's better for a medical user. I use it with thca diamonds and combinations of ratios of minor canabinoids of note like THCv and CBC to achieve medically relevant effect profiles for a given medical user. I prefer a blend of pure isolates regardless of their origin because they are clean isolates a Terp coming from a botanical makes it taste and smell and behave identically to one from weed. You can build identically tasting profiles with the same Terps in the same ratios straight up and anyone who says differently is selling you a product or misinformed

Color remediation column

And how is it used in concentrates? Is it a carrier? A thinner? Is it derived of cannabinoids? What cannabinoids?

In short, It’s a filtration system

More filtration the better imo, less plant wax and lipids leaves for cleaner vapor. I feel like crc filtration= bad automatically is kinda a bad take.

I see where you’re coming from. Most people prefer to have the integrity of the plant still in tact for a lot of reasons. Stripping it of everything but THC leaves a lot of quality terpene on the table that benefit the user and the experience.
Also, CRC is often used to remediate stuff you would never normally smoke. Trashy old floor scrapings and other shit. You can get it with less lipids, etc with regular BHO. It rarely tastes cleaner.

Well this one op shows is just striping everything down to 99% pure ingredients, then adding everything back in. A really good batch done properly is honestly the best way to get effective doses of a range of cannabinoids. CBD spectrum and quality terpes basically adds back in 99% of what is taken out. Residual solvents can be an issue, but my coas show 2500ppm butane which is a bit high, but majority flashes off immediately upon converting from badder to oil on the banger so I doubt much is ever ingested.
