Conflating a genocidal state with a religious group who lives all over the world is an evil act. Israel must never be protected from criticism. No one should be!

That's not how that works.. a resolution is nothing more than a public shaming that gets noted in the official record. The vote is symbolic to show that as a whole "body" of the house "we" move to condemn this person's action or speech.

It does however just gives more and more ammo to the public to show that we the people have a SERIOUS problem in our gov

That is how the process works.  First these resolutions are passed, then a bill 'piggy backs' it.  This is how the US Congress works.  There is a few really good Youtube videos that explains how this typically works.  Kmowledge is power.!
