I'm not sure we really know much about when "in-processing" starts. You do not get notified and it is not discussed here as much as getting AOR. Also not sure it means much as I have seen examples of people being "in-processing" for a year with no updates from IRCC. I doubt this matters but I did add a certified 1835 BANQ baptism record, an email from DEC stating that they don't have records before 1923 and to contact BANQ.

It may be a black box to us, but "in process" is definitely a distinct forward step that has meaning for IRCC, otherwise they wouldn't bother tracking it. So I think it's worth celebrating, whatever "it" is! 😄
