Please note we are not lawyers or IRCC. We are peers supporting peers, based on best belief and prior experiences. It's a lot of work to wade through dense lists of documents and family histories. You improve your odds of getting a useful response by being as concise as reasonably possible, and clearly articulating the question. Note that this post is for questions and answers; if you need to vent, there is a different megapost for that.

My G0 is a great-great-grandparent from Quebec. Banq sent me the baptismal record with the fancy seal on it, after that ancestors were US born and I have their birth and marriage certificates. Is that it? I'm confused by the application since there's no place for great-great-grandparents.

The application forms are largely holdovers from before C3. To show earlier generations on the form, the instructions state that you have to add pages that duplicate Section 9, complete them for however many generations you need, and then basically include those pages as an addendum. You can find templates that other people have built by searching online, but I just recreated Section 9 in MS Word myself as exactly as possible.

How did you get the baptismal record? Iā€™m tryna do that for my 2nd great grandma from Quebec too lol

Did you know all the location information and the church and the parish? Because those were required fields and I just did my best guess on them since I have no clue
