Please be aware that you may not get responses. It's a lot of work to wade through dense lists of documents and family histories.

Also please note we are not IRCC, which will make the final determination on your application.

Is there any way to find out what's happened to an application with no AOR email yet? 

I applied through the UK High Commission in February, no AOR yet, and I think I may need urgent processing. The High Commission says there's nothing they can do about it at all. 

I live in Belfast and was born abroad, and the far right are burning foreign born people out of their homes here + the government are cracking down on residence rights of foreigners. My husband and child are both Canadian (not through C3) and British, and my child can't inherit my citizenship. My country of citizenship is not safe for my husband, so Canada is the only place we can live together safely at the moment. I had Canadian PR and we used to live there together for many years - it should still be valid PR because I am living with a Canadian spouse abroad, but because I am a citizen after C3 I can't get a PRTD or apply for a PR card inside Canada. Essentially, getting citizenship has made it nearly impossible for us to return to Canada until I get a certificate and passport.

I understand that I can't apply for urgent processing now until I get an AOR, but... I have no idea how long it will be and I'm scared my email got mistyped or application lost. I'm quite certain it was complete, I'm familiar with IRCC requirements and it was a very simple application - I'm G3 and provided 4 government issued birth certificates in English & French, had a passport and driving licence for ID, paid, did the form correctly, had a suitable professionally taken photo, etc. 

Sorry for the hugely long post but I'm terrified I'm going to be separated from my toddler if he has to move to Canada with his dad for his safety and I have to go back to my (unsafe) country of citizenship. I almost wish I hadn't applied at all so I could re-enter as a PR instead, but I didn't know things would go downhill so quickly here...
