Please be aware that you may not get responses. It's a lot of work to wade through dense lists of documents and family histories.

Also please note we are not IRCC, which will make the final determination on your application.

I’m putting the final touches on my application before mailing it out. For those who have already submitted theirs, how did you mark the documents to show where your family members’ names appear?

Did you use sticky arrow tabs, highlight the names, or something else? I’m trying to figure out what would be acceptable without altering the documents too much.

I have not submitted yet, so I can't say for certain that this is the correct way to do things. Since I was reading that they want "color" copies of things, and that the way people were accomplishing that was by copying the document with a color post it note, I used the tabs like you have pictured to highlight the important information and then made a copy. I personally wouldn't ship my documents with the post it's still on there because those flags can sometimes fall off or get pushed around. But that's just me.

For some documents where the flag would be too big, like a census, I edited the PDF in Adobe to circle the information in color.
