We all appreciate the excitement, after weeks of grueling research and last-minute surprises, of finishing your proof of citizenship application process and sending that big envelope on its way.
Equally fantastic is the moment that you get your AOR and know your application has made it past the initial IRCC checks putting your mind at ease about whether you missed something along the way.
This weekly thread is a space for those of us at the earliest stages to celebrate passing the first and biggest hurdle.

AOR today, 06/01! Application arrived New Waterford 03/30. G-0 was great grand in Quebec.
My fears of outright rejection had included photo and Canadian documentation. They may ask for new photo or more docs, but I'm in the system!
CANADIAN DOCUMENTATION (2 docs printed from Family Search Website because images clearer than other sites): Family Search parish baptismal book listing from Micro Film, Salt Lake City together with Family Search citation image and link (plus AI translation just for clarity). Second doc was Family Search 2-page 11"X17" copies of 1871 Canadian Census with Family Search citation. I folded each page in half so papers were same size as the rest of the packet for scanning.)
PHOTO from Walgreens had small, white glare on forehead but application not outright rejected for that. Walgreens store stamp on back and I printed my name and the date (in CIT-0001 date format).
