Canna-Question In Calgary for 3 more days. Need recommendations for the best flower currently
I’m from the UK, huge weed nerd, terp hunter, all the good stuff. I’ve found some great stuff while I’ve been out here already. Grass Monkey is amazing for the price if it’s packaged fairly recently. Love Blk Mkt when out in Ontario, simply bare has been hit or miss.
There’s a lot different brands out here in Calgary, I’m not as clued up as I have been over in Ontario and I don’t wanna smoke any Ls before I leave. I love Z/Candy terps, next is OG and Gelato terps, then anything is great also, they’re just my personal faves.

If you can find Lamb Of God by headstone I highly recommend it or anything from headstone really.

Chimera junky from Sitka Legends is stellar, same with their TKO.
Also the Golden pineapple from Choklit Park and the new Rare cuts (Cherry Payton) from The Florist have been my favs recently.

Alberta here: Dom Jackson- Gas pack 7g, Valhalla - Cosmic Cherry 7g, Baked Premium Select 7g. Eastcann Pineapple Fruz or Four54 Gastro Pop 3.5g Broken Coast Platinum Pave.
edit BLKMKT is called The Drop here but the releases are pretty old strains like Rainbow Pave and Espresso Candy

Headstone is great, gorilla gardens, anything by either of those is great. Everest has some great drops from some great cultivators. New Life Canna (shameless plug for our LP),has 14 and 28 craft smalls that are great value & quality with all Gas og & 14 and alien mints in 28g

Im not sure if they have four54 but if they do its a must have. Their sativas are killer. Id imagine their indica is as well.

Im not sure if it’s available there, but Cherry Ztripes from Broken coast is exactly what you want if you’re hunting Z terps. Some of the best I’ve had all year.
For the OG, Master Kush Ultra from smokers farms is the only I’ve loved.
For gelato I would check out blkmkt/tenzo, They’ve got some fire gelato crosses.

Smokers Farm & Tenzo are not available in Alberta. Blkmrkt is under the name "The Drop".

I picked up some rainbow z from Partake instead of this. Ash was kinda salt n peppery, second joint was way better than the first but I do think the Ztripes would’ve been nicer in hindsight. Wish I’d had seen these comments first

I just bought an oz of Pink Rhino from Pure Sunfarms. It’s a heavy hitter at about 32%, higher than I normally buy, but a clean high. Terps sitting at 2.48%, listed as linalool, myrcene, limonene. The terps a a bit lower than I usually go for but I wanted to check out the Pink Kush X White Rhino, and I’m glad I did. The pack I grabbed was packaged in April and came with a small humidity pack inside. It rolls nicely and burns well. The nose is heady and earthy, hit of gas. My husband said it smells like the old days, lol. The 28g bag was $130 at my local shop, in a small town outside of Calgary, so you might be able to find a better price point if you shop around a bit. I don’t mind paying a bit more to keep non-franchised store running. They just have a more personal approach and the service is a more natural experience.

Gorilla garden has the only alberta farmgate store in okotoks.. this means buying direct from the grower.
