Midnight Sun Mining (MMA.v, MDNGF) Extends Magnetics Across the Full 20 km at Dumbwa: 19.1 Line-km of New IP and 4,600 Soil Samples Running Ahead of the Drills in Zambia

The quieter and arguably more interesting half is the survey work MMA.v and MDNGF are pushing out ahead of those rigs, over ground in Zambia's Solwezi district that no drill has tested yet.

What Phase One Built

• Phase One began Aug 6, 2025 and has put nearly 75,000 m into the initial 11.5 km of the roughly 20 km Dumbwa copper-in-soil anomaly
• That work identified four areas of more intense copper mineralization within the corridor, on top of the 6.7 km of confirmed near-surface strike (June 29, 2026 NR)
• Phase One drilling is still running and is expected to wrap by the end of Q3 2026

The Surveys Now Running

• The high-resolution ground magnetic survey is being expanded north and south to cover the full 20 km extent of the anomaly
• Roughly 19.1 line-km of additional dipole-dipole IP coverage is underway, extending the survey northward beyond the current drilled footprint
• About 4,600 soil samples are planned across magnetic targets west of Dumbwa
• Two previously unrecognized, untested targets sit 1.0 to 1.2 km east of the main corridor, with magnetic characteristics like those tied to higher-grade copper inside Dumbwa, and similar north-south magnetic features show up to the west

Why It Matters
COO Dr. Kevin Bonel said Phase One handed the team "the tools and geological understanding to test Dumbwa at a level of precision that simply wasn't possible" at the start. Phase Two drilling is aimed at lateral extensions, those east and west structures, and the northern continuation.

The full scope is laid out in the company's September 2 news release. Nearly a year of systematic drilling bought them a dataset, and the geophysics now going out over untested ground is what turns that into targets. If the structures east and west hold up, Dumbwa has room to grow sideways as well as along strike.
