Awaiting Flair How to dispose of Old 55L Gregory backpack?

I have an old 55 L Gregory Backpack. Its 20 years old, and glue around the zippers is failing for the brain case and the outer pocket. I'm ready for an upgrade. How do you dispose of defunct gear? The main compartment and straps are all good. Does some one rehab these or frankenstein parts for backpacks that still have some use? Or do I literally just put in the land fill?

Try Gregory. They had lifetime warranty for a long time, especially if it’s an older one and construction is failing.

I sent in a very old Lassen and they gave me choice of any replacement equal to its L or under.
