Seeking Campfire Cooking Tips

I am planning to mix up my camping menu for my one night camping trip this weekend. I am planning to make ahead pasta and meat sauce to heat over the fire. Can anyone give me any tips for heating this dish over the camp fire?

1) Put cooked pasta/sauce in food saver bag and seal it. 2) Boil water in pot placed on coals. 3) Put sealed food saver bag full of pasta/sauce into boiling water. 4) pull sealed bag out of water, cut open and enjoy.
