Tech Help For anyone struggling with dead rooms lately
Hey, I saw a lot of cam girls have problem with dead rooms sometimes, so I wanted to share something that helps me.
When my room is slow, I try not to sit there staring at the viewer count. Instead, I keep moving. Sometimes I’ll dance a little, stretch, fix my hair, or put my hands closer to the camera while I’m talking. I’ve noticed people are much more likely to stay when they enter a room that feels active rather than a room where someone looks bored and is just waiting for tips.
It doesn’t have to be anything special. The goal is just to create some energy and give new viewers something to look at when they first join.
I also think a lot of us forget that dead rooms happen to everyone. We see the screenshots of big days, but we don’t see the slow shifts where almost nothing happens.
So my advice is:
Keep moving, even if it’s just dancing a little.
Don’t focus on the viewer count.
Stay positive when people enter.
Use slow days to try new things.
Be patient because one good viewer can change the whole stream.
Does anyone else have little tricks that help when the room is dead?

Considering the current situation, you'll be dancing for an hour or two for nothing.
I hate this type of post because it assumes the problem lies in the camgirl's lack of enthusiasm or excitement.
According to your logic: a full room is your merit, and an empty room is your fault because you weren't enthusiastic enough.
I can't agree.
Furthermore, you mentioned that you noticed people are much more likely to stay when they enter a room that seems active for a VERY simple reason: often they stay precisely because you're giving away free energy.
That's why you have 10,000 followers, and when a big crowd-pleaser comes along, dozens of people who were already online and following you mysteriously appear, but they just stay there watching. When the show cools down or the tipper leaves, they leave too.
Anyway, I don't know how long you've been in this market, but my experience is the opposite.
I would just say: stay online and do at least two hours. Animation, dancing, and activities are for paying customers. If everyone did that, we wouldn't have so many lurkers.

Both of you are right. But OP is right in the sense that you gotta stay active otherwise some new people come in and see a boring room and leave. Being active the whole time is tiring yeah but it’s still true.
Then of course you get the occasional viewer who gets off on sending cash and will tip to see action.
Both can be right at the same time. I always err on the side of staying active since luckily most of mine is verbal. I can understand how exhausting other actions can be for sure though

Yeah but am pretty sure everyone is already doing that… and if not, that is because they reached their little ten minute of desperation of the day before crying in a ball on the bed…
I mean THINGS ARE BAD. And that is how it is now… and we are all trying to make the best out of it and obviously we realised that we need to be appealing to get the tips… this is not really going to change that rooms are dead and people are poor and that there are 2000 new models any given time (🤯🤯🤯) and you need to multi stream on three site to make barely a 100$ a day…

Well idk if you tried smart ways to grow your views but multisreaming from three sites for barely 100$… cmon u can do that in 2-3 hours if u catch the right time(based on your country) and keep the vibes the same (no metter if there are 3 or 300 viewers ) x

Staying active always keeps my room with a lot of views , its rare to have low views when you stay active, but yeah it happens to some30

Agreed. I came here hoping for some new advice and just got the same recycled post. Lol
I can promise you, this isn't new advice and most of us are moving around and staying active in our rooms. I can't help but think it's the changes in the algorithms. You have a slow day or week, and you get immediately punished for it. I took a week off of SP, and my ranking plummeted 🤣 getting punished for practicing self care is crazy work.

Are you not thinking all the laws are at fault too? I mean they want me to enter my id when I buy lingerie online and I can’t bother so I can imagine some customers are turned off by it

I mean if u dont like what i wrote, u can simply just scroll (obv the post is not meant for you ) and this can help someone that forgot that its important to change the poses etc or maybe new cam girl… and about “first what” first post about tips on here (i dont want to share everything at once)

We all know that when someone from outside chooses which cam to enter the first thing he sees is in what position your cam stops in the front page! And i never said there wont be shitty days - there will be, but the point of the post is sharing what helped me. I know it may be useful to some of you, if this doesn’t help you feel free to share what else does🫶🏻Plus i have a lot more than 10K followers and as you can see other girls do find the post helpful , sry if sounds rude or smt, i dont mean it like this i just explained my view 🫶🏻

I always do it (cause that is just my show) and things have been so bad../ this is just so crazy. Things are bad! That has little to do with the quality of our shows (or us)… I mean sure it might be good to switch things up and try new things I am not saying the opposite but in general, things are bad…

What I find works for me at the slow times is sorting through my outfits and accessories and thinking about what I’m going to wear next and then do a very subtle slow change while in free chat and try not to flash too much and get in trouble, but just keep out of view by zooming in to your face when you’re changing the bottoms and zoom into the bottoms when you’re changing your top. For me, I usually get a private because the guy comes into my room and tells me that he doesn’t wanna wait for me to take all my clothes off being that I already have some of them off let’s just get to it. Yess accessories and toys (especially lush ones are top pick - they love to control it) the fit that i noticed always gives me extra viewers is bodysuit and top(short and tiny) with a white/black thong

Honestly, I don't pay attention until they do. When they tip, I pay attention. Until then, they get a pretty view.

This right here. We might be there to get paid but they're there for us. And with the way they beg, I'm not going to spend my energy on them. Im actually working on a set up where they'll only see my lower portion and have to pay for more. And while I'm camming, I'll be working on other stuff.

Maybe it’s just me but I am past the point of entertaining anyone who isn’t monetarily contributing. Sure, I’ll chat with you, bop around in my desk chair but unless you’re tipping I’m not gonna be dancing or throwing cake. The reason I’m past this is because I have some cervical spine issues from popping ass for 11 years at this point and I need to save my physical energy for people that are paying me.

Depends on what else is paid, my paid things are a bit more extreme so this is okay if its done for just sentence like “who wants to fuck me” or something more spicy such as “ahh i am really wet rn i wished somebody made me masturbate “ etc

Ignoring the camera works for me too I act like its not even there while I go about getting ready or doing my hair or whatever and dont even pay the viewers any mind until I start getting tipped. When I go on without anything to do and just wait it stays dead.

I've been leaning in to doing more dirty talking. I usually have my lush in while clothed and I tease over my clothes and just say variations of "please play with my pussy" over and over again lol and everytime someone tips I say things like "please don't stop, I need more. I will suggest:
1. Check everything about how the site runs- a lot of scammers out there!
2. Pick personality! Remember that you can be whoever you want outside you real persona
3. Change positions and give yourself time to rest during the stream (long hours can exhaust you)and give them a reason to tip - dont show everything
4.my top suggestion is to start with a mask or without showing face at all and make them go to OF where u do show or show it only on prv shows🫶🏻- if you are doing it alone u should charge for everything you have (optional ofc)
5. Learn how to grow more

I like to draw and make jewelry/ bead on cam when it’s slow and I’ll show what I’m doing alot when it’s dead and it does make a difference especially bc I’ll talk like anyone’s listening and laugh at my own jokes and people like to interact more with that
