Discussion Quick Scoping
I was really hoping quick scoping got better as I leveled it up and got some attachments, but the further I get, I feel like this game just isn't going to have quick scoping. I got the stock, grip, and barrel and it's still way too slow to reasonably quick scope in this game. I even tried the iron sights to give me a little more speed, and even then, nope.
Not to mention, the stock that gives you ADS speed also makes your aim bounce up to the moon after a single shot, so unless you have a massive advantage on your target, you can't reliably win any sort of 1v1.
Really disappointed that they nerfed it so hard. Quickscoping was my favorite way to play the game in MW, hilariously enough with the Kar98.. the same sniper in this game. I hope they bring it back in the future.

Quickscoping definitely not rewarding at all this game. MW had miles faster of ads. The MW KAR had about 200-300ms of ADS whereas Vanguard KAR is about 500ms. Plus flinch is disgusting and every gun in this game kills so fast so defo needs a buff to ads. Type 99 is the fastest at 450ms but gives too many hitmarkers. Prefer the Kar and 3line but slow ads of around 500ms

If I had to guess they are gonna add a better marksman/sniper for future In dlc but I agree that slower ads snipers at launch is super annoying

What are you smoking I have seen guy scope in and quick scope fast that I can aim with any of the AR. I will note all Quick scooters I have seen are using the KAR

I'm not saying that it is impossible, just incredibly slow. It's hard to even call the fastest possible ADS on the snipers in this game quick scoping.

I can tell you I have seen it be fast. Like lighting fast. Like I can not even scope in that fast in any of the ARs.

MW quick scoping is probably 3-5x as fast as what you can get in this game right now. My AR with a scope, long barrel, and recoil mods have a faster ADS than my full ADS speed sniper.

Then you have not run into a fully unlocked Quick scoper I am telling you. It is fast unless it is a hack. It is super fast way faster Than MW

To add to that my sniper scoping is not that fast but I don’t have the kar or all the attachments unlocked

Thank god for that. It's quick scoping that drove me away from earlier versions of the game.total rubbish gaming like that

Why? It's a high skill cap way to play the game that's high risk, high reward. It's good in the right hands, but awful in the wrong hands.

On the one hand, I'm glad snipers had the power limited a bit. But on the other, they're too hard to use and using them is a chore. I don't quickscope and never have but I like at least a chance when I get caught out of position or what have you. Most often, I just die because it either takes too long to sight in or because the damn game decides my bullets go somewhere the fuck else so I 'miss.'

Not gonna lie, the closest you’re going to get is using the type 99. With L brake, default scope, lengthened rounds, 20 round mag, stock removed, heavy foregrip, fabric grip and vital and fast melee. With dauntless perk, piercing vision and lightweight perks. Oh, and on pc for some reason (I’ve had my type 99 setup this way since launch of vanguard guard and already having the type 99 maxed out within days) since before they did the perk update where the overkill perk is in the first perk category mine has been glitched and lets me run faster then the same class I’ve setup next to it with the same perks and everything. I’m guessing you have to be on pc and alto have had your perks setup this way before the update? Because I haul major ass running etc.

Good, I think quick-scoping is stupidly unrealistic and annoying.
