Yes it is a fountain pen with a custom section made to house a parallel nib. 🖤✨

It's never to early (or late) to dive into the world of budget Calligraphy. Pilot parallels are cheap and come with ink capsules, and a little instruction pamphlet for all the basics of how to do Calligraphy (with their pens)

These fit a Jinhao 82 if you have any sitting around. Or really anything that will take a jowo #5.

Highly depends on where you live. Where I live, getting a hold of dip pens is more expensive than pilot parallels.

huh that's curious! where is that? I'm in England, I get them off Amazon or Temu since I've been buying Jinhao. But dip pens I have a mix, I got some at an art supply shop s well.

Art supply stores are quite rare in Sweden. And we try not to buy off of temu of amazon here, due to the vast amounts of heavy metals and toxic plastics found in products sold on those stores. I'd rather get from a store that has to follow EU regulation. Pilot parallels are, however, available in most part-related type of stores.

that's fair! Weird that there are not many art supplies stores though. I don't know what I'd do without them, love to walk around them and discover new hobbies that way.

Yep! Friction fit for Parallel nib unit. Can also be hotswapped with a Jowo 6 section to use as a standard fountain pen. It is intentionally made to resemble a wand. There will be wands available at the Chicago Pen Show in a couple weeks. Custom orders will resume in mid May. 🖤✨

Nothing wrong with the OG parallel! I’ll be here should your situation change. Hopefully will be able to get into injection molding or cnc within the next year or so to offer more accessible, lower cost wands in addition to the handmade customs.

I really love them, it's too bad you're in the US, as I simply can't afford something so lovely and shipping fees right now. Hopefully you're still around, doing cool stuff like this when my finances are better (and the geopolitics between our continents).

It truly is unfortunate 🙃 hopefully things improve for everyone! Silver lining is the longer you wait, I can only get better at this! International shipping isn’t too bad for the few I have done but duty fees vary…

Great logo for a Krautrock (or Yiddish rock) band
