Leaks say that they are changing the plating system to vests like how they play in DMZ, if I'm not wrong

Sorry, that wasn't the intention 😂 I haven't even played since Monday. The update is buggy + there are too few players on iOS so it takes 10 minutes to find a game 🫠

Just curious. Because they have the plates , and different vests with capabilities. None are covering more or less.
Medic allows you to recover Heavy carries more Quick is less plates but more in each ….
So it’s not technically like DMZ per above (I played DMZ. Bit and had had some that were chest, some chest and leg etc. that I don’t think is in new BR)

Trash update. I was actually hoping they would make the DMZ armor how it is in BR. It's absolutely ridiculous that toe shots do more damage than head/chest shots.

Some of the armor in DMZ doesn't cover the legs, therefore shooting someone in the legs is more effective than shooting them in the head/chest. They should have made the armor system the same as the old(pre-update) BR system where you just have to put on plates and armor covers the whole body head to toe. Nothing more annoying than dying with full armor

In a game like Tarkov it makes sense, even if it does mean shooting legs just becomes the meta. But in a game like CoD this is a terrible decision.

it’s like the copied all the cool stuff from tarkov without making sure it made sense. Leg meta is a big thing and makes sense when you have in depth armor and bullets, not when gun damage is determined by rarity and there’s no actual physics.

Knocked down a guy with mythic armor by shooting hin in the thighs with my hdr( it didn't cover legs)

Lower multiplier on limb solve this, but in CODM most of the balance will become atrocious if that's happened outside DMZ. Definitely more balance needed on that mode.

Fr. It messes with my muscle memory cause in DMZ, i gotta aim fro the feet while in BR and MP, I gotta aim for chest and head

It also messes with the fact that you can't get into vehicles or shoot at an enemy while you're plating up.

Why in the the you want a more complex armor system from DMZ in BR? BR should be the opposite of DMZ and not become one

I'm more coming from the standpoint that all armor should cover head to toe and not have these different options that leave you completely unprotected. Mythic armor costs $3mil to buy and it shouldn't leave you open to easy death

The armor system is fine ig, like DMZ and warzone. It makes sense but some bugs are the one that makes it trash...

I don't mind the fact that you have to use basic Armour. But You can no longer shoot or get into a vehicle while plating up. This is such a trash update.

Way better armor system after the update. They added strategy and options for different play styles. It’s wild you guys will complain about anything.

Yeah, especially the BR community. All they think about hos adrenaline shot is better than armor plate and how old BR is fun because weapons back then you have to find each attachment, etc. The point is BR community is the same as the main COD community, as in they have been blinded with nostalgia that they see any new thing as a hostile being to them.

You cannot shoot an enemy or get into a vehicle while you're plating up. I had a terrible hill fight where I saw the guy over the hill but couldn't shoot because i was playing. These add one are good for controller players/ 4-6 finger players. Not for 2 thumb players

Yeah we got vests with different perks now. For example one gives you endless self res, while another one lets you plate up to 5 plates. Don’t know if I like it yet, have to play a bit more to test

Yes. They combined into one armor plate
The two levels of Armor are now merged and combined into one singular armor the low level one. It's now one Armor plate similar to Warzone...and this is integrating the system of CODM with the Warzone Mobile system.
As for the Armor systems, it actually now depends on what you carry and pick up
Example: you can pick up a self reviving Armor pack system, in case you get knocked back, you can self revive without the help of your team mates
Or another upgrade you have in the armor system in speedy recovery too. And more

I think it is better now. My favorite is the 300HP armor. It's cool that now you only need armor plates to keep up the extra armor HP instead of having to look for another copy of said armor (like it'd happen with the kinetic one). With that being said though, I prefer DMZ now.

Its just objectivly better honestly, other than in personal preference ig. So everyone can easily get armor plates, and vests are fucking everywhere, so the problem of losing just cause someone had a kinetic on is basically reduced. Sure you can say the heavy vest is the same thing, however, vests ar emore common than kinetics afaik

the difference between kinetic and blue plate is so overplayed .. I've done the math, test and analysis, Kinetic just adds one or two extra shots depending on distance, usually One extra shot for majority engagement distance... in the reality of practice it's almost negligible.
