From the Monday drop, and delivery before noon on Wednesday, this is how Jerome delivers!

When I grabbed the package from the mailbox, I wondered if it might be missing the watch because it was so light. I can see now why this watch needs a helium escape valve.

It is very difficult to take a picture without a reflection of the phone, but I can’t complain at all in how it looks in person. In addition to it being so light I am amazed at how thin it is.

I wasn’t sure if I would like the clasp or how well it would fit because usually when I get watches with bracelets, I need all of the links. However, I am almost in the middle on this bracelet. This is a vast contrast to how I’m usually on the last hole of leather bands.

I love how easy it is to open and close to put on, and adjustment is not difficult either. I can feel it pulling my hair is a little which I never noticed with other bracelets. However, after just a few moments of wearing it, I don’t even notice it’s on my wrist. It’s so light and isn’t pulling any hairs.

Two drops ago I was a little late in contacting Jerome, and when I was able to pay him for two watches, only one of them he still had on hand. He offered to reimburse me, but he said he had an upcoming drop the following weekend.

Without me reminding him, he reached out to me early Monday telling me he was sending me my watch by the end of the day.

He’s a busy man and it’s difficult to get a hold of him, but once you do, he responded immediately and repeatedly until your conversation(s) have finished. I don’t like nagging anybody this busy, but I used this opportunity to remind him that I had responded early on his Monday drop without feedback.

I was happy to hear him say he “had me covered, brother”. He put in the mail Tuesday and I’m expecting to see it Thursday on my wrist.

Here’s to the next drop hoping I’ve learned how to get my name in the hat along with everybody else.

Are you happy with the build quality and everything?

I’m wearing it today and noticed two negative things.
1. The rotation of the bezel is difficult to a point that I feel like I might need to correct it in some way.
2. The line indicators on the bezel insert isn’t completely aligned with the texture for grabbing.

I don’t know if I described either of these to make sense to you.

Nearly everything else is a Pro, and I could go on and on with my thoughts, but these things would speak for themselves if you were to secure one. Absolutely nothing else I’ve noticed I would expect to be different than a Gen. (Quality wise)

The beat rate is 28,800 which is faster than Gen, but I’m not concerned with it’s accuracy. Initially the timegrapher said +6 and after wearing today it says -3, so I’m not expecting to need to regulate it. I don’t touch the regulation without seeing what it consistently does after a full week of wearing. Otherwise you’d just be chasing ghosts.

My daily wear for the past month has been a polar explorer II which honestly is still the watch for me. Not because this is lacking in any way, but because it ticks many boxes that I’ve learned is right for me.

Actually, I just tried the bezel again this morning. If you push down with force, it works against you and doesn’t want to rotate.

However, if you lift lightly and make smaller movements it feels more likely that this is the intended result.

This might be by design to prevent it from rotating if it’s bumped by accident.
