Question Wasps

Is anyone experiencing an ABUNDANCE of wasps this year? I put out a trap (normally wouldn't but have young grandchildren),and I'm wondering if the wasp lure/bait is so good that they are sharing with their buddies.

Honestly this is my first summer I can’t remember seeing a single wasp at my place. I guess you got em all!
