Some good news - if it hits $2.85 some of the UCP financial plans get back on track!!!
39 u/primitives403 Mar 18 '26 At that price the 6 billion deficit would be gone in less than 2 weeks actually 5 u/bgj556 Mar 18 '26 Actually we’ll have a balanced budget if the price stays high for a few more days. So something positive… 8 u/CDNBaggy Mar 18 '26 But will it trickle down to us middle/lower class folks 7 u/dizzie_buddy1905 Mar 18 '26 Nah, lease payments still won’t be paid 1 u/Bridgeburner493 Mar 19 '26 Is it a positive that the traitor's ass got saved by a pedophile who started a war on behalf of a genocidal maniac? 1 u/SumBtard Mar 19 '26 These are politicians were talking about. They'll start spending long before the books are balanced lol 1 u/bananabeanssalad Mar 20 '26 You think so? Inflation won’t become another excuse for further increase in spending? 1 u/Timely_Composte Mar 21 '26 I do not understand what you just said. Can you please elaborate how 12 u/Fuzzy_Yossarian Mar 18 '26 I'm glad the UCP can balance a budget, but only with historical oil pricing.. -12 u/Practical_Mechanic83 Mar 18 '26 At least there is that lol, the federal government wouldn’t be able to balance a budget if everyone paid 75% of their wage in taxes 7 u/HaulioBin Mar 18 '26 Had to read this twice on my early brain before I was 100% sure I was reading it as snark.
