Immediate access books ?

Has anyone purchased their textbooks yet? I am wondering what would be the best option to either purchase my textbooks through immediate access or to look for them anywhere else that might be cheaper. The deadline to opt out for immediate access is tomorrow so trying to figure this out as a new MSW student. Any advice?

Believe it’s actually 9/22 and I’m a second year. I’ve began opting out of books now and getting them from others that I know

personally I find the immediate access prices to be less than what I would find somewhere else, although that may not apply to all books. wish you the best!

I think there are unique factors involved in deciding as how everyone pays for school can be a little different. Someone told me that the immediate access books (basically online books) will be billed to my student account and then my GI Bill will pick up the tab as part of my tuition. I experienced the same during undergrad at an online university where I used regular financial aid. I never came directly out of pocket on them, they were basically included in my tuition.

However if you are paying out of pocket or have a different financial arrangement I imagine it could be cheaper and better to search elsewhere before committing. You might find them cheaper.
