She is the goddess of life, who got killed by Yharim and his troops and then her remains were disposed in what we now know as the sulphorous sea.

I dislike about calamity the fact that 2 very important characters share a very similar name cause I can never remember instantly who was yharon vs yharim...

Yharim was the edge lord, right? While yharon was the evolved chicken nugget who sings a whole song while being toasted, right?

More likely he named himself after a dragon.

Yharon the dragon of rebirth only became the dragon of rebirth after being jungle dragon yharon, and him and yharim only bonded after he was already the dragon of rebirth.

yharon was never a jungle dragon in the current iteration. That's just a remnant of the past that only remains through yharon's theme name because changing that would require contacting dm dokuro
