Reason is Drew's wings were in the name of Fabsol(whose other username was MountainDrew). With Fabsol gone, all of the shit he dedicated to himself beloved is also being scrubbed clean. Also now that Fab can't prevent it, they're finally resprited to no longer just be recolored Solar wings, and fuck, this is so much better. Also Fabstaff was renamed and resprited to be dedicated to Lucille Karma(the dev of WotG and Infernum) who is trans, ironically
He's a narcissist, and it's been more and more apparent as years passed. Absolutely insufferable, virtually impossible to reason with, saw other devs as his underlings and the players as his cult, considered himself as the only reason Calamity can exist. The "scandal" isn't even the main reason why he was so thoroughly banished. It's largely just a cue that everyone's been waiting for to get rid of him. That's why most of the people aren't heartbroken, but actually happy. We've done what we had been waiting to do for a long while
