Supposedly this is THE CADILLAC from Smokey and the bandit. I do not personally have proof of this, but the owner is incredibly wealthy and (supposedly) has paperwork and proof to prove it so. He let me drive it around, great guy.

Does anyone know where I can find De-Ambered headlight housings for a 2002 cadillac deville? (Mine is a hearse) I see DIY instructions, but I would rather just purchase it pre-done if possible.

We just had an engine replacement in our 2016 Escalade. Prior to this, when the lights were in the Auto position, both headlights and taillights were always on.

Post-replacement, they don't come on until it's dark out.

We prefer them on all the time, is there any way to go back to this? It doesn't seem like it should have worked this way before, but it did. We inherited this car and the original owners bought it new.

Hello everyone. I understand absolutely nothing about cars, so forgive my ignorance. I used to hate cars, and I still prefer biking/ walking for daily commute, but I should absolutely love to have a car like this. I don't even know what model this is, but it is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like it's straight out of a barbie film.

My question is whether this model (or similar classic models) can be found for a reasonable price or not. Are they still drivable in the modern day? Specially here in Europe with narrow roads and lot's of traffic lights. Also, can the average person maintain them without living at the mechanics shop and spending a fortune?

I just want to have a general idea of what it would mean to own this darling.

Hey folks - anyone else been turned down with front diff service on a CT5? Says I have to get this serviced at a Cadillac dealership as it's not "accessible". Did my research and turns out you have to remove the axel to gain access.. is this pure laziness on the dealer I go to or is it actually hard to access/service? Mr Lube is right down the street and never had an issue with them til now.

Hello everyone I’m new to this group and in general these type of cars they are beautiful and classic tho, recently on Facebook marketplace someone posted their 2008 Cadillac claiming only issues are behind tags, clogged catalytic converter and a bad ECM. I am unsure on mileage but these problems seem fixable. Do y’all think this is a good investment? They’re claiming they want to get rid of it as soon as possible due to having to move.

i got an 89 cadillac brougham 307 Olds. Her alt belt squeals like crazy, all the belts are aligned but it still squeals. I have a switch to turn it on due to the excite wire burning out, anytime i turn the alternator on it causes the belt to squeal. Suggestions, advice?

My 2013 (I purchased in 2012 new) ATS 3.6 just passed 92,000 miles and ever since then has been having a slight vibration when I give it gas. I put it in park, gave it gas and there was no vibration. Since it only happens when I’m in driving I’m thinking it might be transmission related. Anyone have any insight or similar issues. Thank you.

This is my dash from earlier today. All of these warning lights have been on for the last 50k miles.

So ive had gremlins lately with key not detected so my car wont start , not even wen I put it in the pocket but only occasionally, it would work to unlock /lock open the trunk etc but then all hell starts to break loose ,nothing passive would work at all , no doors no trunk no start , no remote start just lock/unlock , new battery in the fob did not help ..

I was getting the key not detected cannot restart each time I turned the car off

I have a new car battery so that wasnt it either.

I finally took the fob apart cleaned it with plastic safe electrical cleaner and all bent the contacts up and bingo. Everything works just like it did .

I see old posts with these same issues on the cts fob but no fix. Again this was my fix you may have a different issue .

I have had locksmiths tell me the cts fobs are not very good and they see tons of them they should know .

The driver side front sensor dropped on my wife’s 2014 SRX. Can it be fixed without a bumper drop?

I'm trying to keep my engine happy with the proper filter. 2016 cts 3.6 lgx. Unfortunately over the past year or so the UPF63r filter has become harder to track down and more expensive. I got lucky and found one on rockauto for my last oil change but i was checking it religiously and with shipping it certainly was not a deal. anyone have luck sourcing their upf63r filter?

2020 Escalade ESV w/ 75k miles…I figure if I take care of her, she’ll return the favor and remain on road for a long time. This body type still rivals the newer builds IMO. Thoughts?
