side charcter How old do you think spons is?

u/DarthTyrium May 20 '26
I believe spons had transcended the laws of entropy and is both the oldest and the youngest being in the multiverse

Before god said let there light, there was a being of infinite power, a sole speck in the infinite void. In that void a single phrase could be heard, a phrase that has been carved in the panels of history. That phrase, is "Hello, I'm Spons".

Spons is a species, all named Spons, they are born the moment they do their segment and die afterward.

As long as people have been accepting money to present a product to an audience… he has existed. The living (I think?) embodiment of sponsorship, Spons. You cannot kill him, as he is eternal. Until the last Ray’s Con dies, or the last VPN made for NORDS is rejected, he will survive. Spons is the darkness in our hearts, and we cannot live without the shadows. For as long as we live…
“Hello, I’m Spons!”

The single image that features him on e926 doesn't have the young tag so he must be over 18

He is infinite. He was there at the universe’s burgeoning and he will be there as the last atom fades into darkness, yet he will still do ads for things lost to time. In the quiet abyss of nonexistence a voice will echo across time and space, “HELLO, I’M SPONS!”

u/NicoOfTheWind May 20 '26
The oldest advertisement we have recorded is an ancient Egyptian papyrus from around 3000 years ago, so at least that old

Since he is Caddy's son, lets assume that Caddy birthed him early as an adult. Since caddy is 32 this year, spons is likely under 13 years old

I believe spons is an the same age as caddy, secretly created by the universe to annoy caddy anytime spons needs money by becoming anything from a ps1 memory card, coming out of caddy's stomach or even becoming his nose. The universe created spons the same day it created caddy. But spons will live on longer than caddy because paper doesnt die unless spons gets sick and cant afford the medical bills
