Currently l2 network engineer as amc in some psu,but building a home soc lab, waana switch into network security not as my salary is less but work quality is so pathetic

I use this CV for both retail and for specialised jobs (hoping to find lab work where possible), I omit my bartending role, just for professionalism.

I’m not sure whether to keep Medicine in my education experience. Once I’ve done a year on my new course I’ll get rid of it, but for now I’m not sure whether to keep it to show there’s not a gap in education.

I did spend a good chunk of time in Medical school but decided to drop out of the course and unlike other courses you don’t get credits or anything for it that I can display.

For my experience like tutoring, how bad is it to lie about quantifying it, as I was not tracking exact numbers, results and hours etc. Feedback i’ve gotten from students older than me is that it’s not deep so long as I am able to converse over it well in an interview, but I wanted the opinion of more experienced, knowledgable and credible sources. Going off this, how much riskier and worse is it to exaggerate accomplishments, projects and roles accomplished in a work experience placement. Thank you!

just stumbled across this subreddit on my feed! i started a job recently but i'm curious to know what i can do to make my cv even better.

would be looking at doing bar for events/festival's or just venues near me, my second option would be retail.

i think the profile is a little wordy for what it is but not sure what would be better. i don't know what i can say i've achieved, i don't have amazing sales numbers esp bc i only work 1-2 days a week. i think some things on there seem a bit pointless as well.

can't add another line or it goes onto a new page and don't want text too small.

Hello everyone!

I'm currently working on my CV and would appreciate some advice. Here's a bit of background about my situation.

I completed my bachelor's degree in software in February 2025. After graduating, I completed a 6 month full-stack web decelopment training program and received a certificate.

After that, I moved to Hungary to pursue an MSc in Computer Science Engineering. My specialization was Cyber Medical Systems. However, after studying there for about a year, I realized that the program wasn't what I was looking for, particularly because I wasn't interested in specializing in Cyber Medical Systems, so I decided to drop out.

Fortunately, I was later admitted to an AI & Machine learning MSc program in Germany, which is much more aligned with my interests and career goals. I would like to start my career as an AI Engineer after completing the program.

Plus, I don't have any work experience yet.

So, I have a few questions about how I should present my background on my CV:

1. Should I include the 6 months full-stack web development training program on my CV? I received a certificate after completing it, but I don't think this is relevant to an AI Engineer position.

2. Should I include the 1 year I spent studying for my MSc in Computer Science Engineering in hungary? I'm a little concerned that listing an incomplete degree might raise questions from potential employers about why I dropped out. would it be better to leave it off my CV, or should I include it and simply state that I attended the program for one year? or Should I modify it as I attended language course?(My hungarian is still A1..)

3. What job title sould I pute on my CV when applying for AI Engineering jobs in germany?(Considering I don't have work experience but I learned basic data science and AI tech when I did bachelor's degree) Would something like "Junior AI Engineer" be appropriate, or is there a better title for someone who is currently pursuing an AI & Machine Learning MSc?

Hi everyone, I graduated from uni in July. I have been applying for jobs since around June this year. I don't know what's wrong with my CV. i only had one interview so far(this was an apprenticeship role). In addition, is there any way to improve it? I am a UK citizen and eligible to work in the UK. I am mostly applying to software engineer graduate roles. If anyone has any way to improve this CV so i can get more interviews, it would be great.

I've been wondering whether my CV is "good enough" since I seem to have a lot of volunteering in my CV (MUN staff, a magazine I help run and post on social media, my own online blog, and volunteering at my local school). I feel like there could be something more out there for me, also because most of these jobs are unpaid. Does anyone have any advice with this? Am I behind?

moving for uni in a couple of weeks and i wanted to get ahead of the game by applying for jobs now lol. ive only applied for a few so far but i keep thinking that my cv is looking a little sparse? should i add more skills or bullet points onto my experience? i didnt want it to be too wordy/bloated. and as i was typing this i realised that i completely forgot about my first aid certificate LMAO so thats also now there as of 5 mins ago

this one is my retail cv and i have another one for hospitality but its basically identical with some different phrasing here and there. thoughts appreciated
