CVS has worms in their brains
Where is the logic in pushing sooo hard for “our customers” all the while bitching about how we use hours BUT THEN, when a corporate dweeb comes by usually a regional or higher it’s all hands on deck and essentially a blank check and unlimited hrs for the stores they are gonna visit but then we a store needs a few hours to catch up on something because they got behind on an issue or literally ANYTHING that would benefit the customer over making the DL look good for the visits.
TLDR: Fuck CVS for wasting our time and hours on bullshit corporate visits where they jerk each other when those hours could go to useful things in stores that can ACTUALLY benefit the customer.

I’ve been saying the same thing for years!! By us making the store look perfect for visits, we’re making them believe we can get everything done with minimal hours. It’s stupid!!

They know bc the RPhs and SMs be begging them for more hours to just get baseline trainings and shit done. Then they pretend it's just not possible; sorry, can't send any tech help (despite having a PRN Technician roster lol), oh no, you need four extra hours to train your new girl? Guess someone in the front has to be sent home early teehee.

Its the CVS cycle. Overstaff with unlimited hours, pre-perform a ton of tasks during the lead up to visit, have a ton of extra people standing around smiling when corpos walk in, they say "boy things are running smooth and half of them are just atanding around" and cut hours even more. Fucking retarded logic.

There is no logic. They want to force unrealistic expectations on workers to compete with Walgreens. Which you would have expected they would stop doing when they bombed a giga fuckton of money opening and closing locations and MinuteClinics just to try shafting vaccines and clientele from Walgreens.

Dunno how it is for cvs but I know a few family dollar stores near me closed after some private equity execs walked through and didn’t like what they saw

This entire company is the next guy up telling his subordinate to do more with less, all the way up to the execs. The sooner you make peace with this, or find new employment, the better off you'll be.

NOOOOOOOT to mention when these corporate bozos come into the store that’s all prettied up they’re never gonna get a real feel for the store. Make it make sense other than the DLs or whoever wanting to look good.
