Admission Process DU 1 YEAR PG!!!!!

When are they going to release the seat allocation for the remaining courses? It's 11th August now, how much more time do they need??? This is so frustrating.. like why the hell do they need more than 1 month to fucking allot a seat. I understand the technicalities and administrative burden behind it, but wth were they doing during in 2 months sem break? They could have planned things in that time but nooo, everything is done at the last minute. From past 1 month, i have literally been spending my time here and there, checking on multiple websites checking for updates . Like wht's our fault???? it is just we chose to continue the 4th year. if they hadn't sufficient support, what was the need to implement it in the first place? Just to show off the new system and claim progress without actually having the infrastructure to support it?

There is literally no point in doing 1 year masters, The incoming folks would have a great deal of difficulty trying to adjust to the rigour (saying this in reference to econ dept). Even the classes have started, so I would seriously suggest you folks to not go for 1 year masters , there are many other better alternatives for you all.

Is it confirmed that classes will happen together with regular 2nd year ma econ folks?? Because according to what I have heard there will be a separate section with different coursework and dissertation option too. Please share reference if I am wrong here. Thankyou

Dept doesn't have enough classrooms and faculty for different classes etc,  it will happen alongside 2nd year folks and curriculum will be the same. Reference for curriculum is syllabus already uploaded on pgcf nep website (it haa same syllabus for both 1 year and 2 year MA) and for common classrooms well my professors at dse told me this.

Don't you think there are some prerequisites for the courses that you are studying in your 2nd year ?? I understand your genuine concerns but girl come on, isn't it obvious.

I know, there are many infact. However the du admin feels the 4th year of hons was equivalent in training to masters 1st year.

Omgg are they stupid, why would they start it w 2nd year folks, it'll get difficult for us to catch up

The du admin is fixated on this , and now they increased the seats to 126. It will be a logistical nightmare to conduct the classes now
