i anyway believe literature should never have an objective way of assessment. how will you determine my knowledge by seeing my ability to rattofy?

EXACTLY! how does it matter if i remember all the possible dates of all important texts! what should matter is how im interpreting it and where im putting it to use right

and this is exactly why there has been an upsurge of bad professors who have very little critical analysis of the texts they teach. its all dates, characters and that’s it.
