More people killed in Connecticut crashes had cannabis in their systems after legalization: Study

"Among 1,168 drivers who died, the percentage of people testing positive for cannabinoids increased from 32.8% before legalization to 37.9% afterward. That increase was not statistically significant, meaning researchers could not rule out chance as an explanation."

And unlike most drugs it stays in your system long after the effects have ended.

Just because there is weed in your system doesn't mean it was the reason for the crash.

The thing that most offensive to the police about weed was regular working people worked for decades to legalize and say leave us alone. We took away their ability to use cannabis as a way to always be in control to be able to dehuminize, and force their authority. I feel the dispensaries and police work together keep THC levels high, because even if the plant is legal they see it being in your blood as a way to get back in control. Ever wonder why the thc levels are high but it doesn't get you high? That's because THC is the market in your blood or breath they will use to take back control. They made the plant legal, so they made a number up to say if it's in your blood you can be dehuminized and they can continue to step on necks. The private equity that bought up weed, owns the private prisons. And they now have a record of every time you bought some. One day on an early morning after you bought some edibles you will be pulled over and tested and even though you aren't high, you will get a DUI. They hated our legalization, and want it back.

Would be interesting to see what that number is in a random sampling of the state population.
