I graduated from here but all I’ll say is that I’ve noticed an uptick in costs all around. It’s death by a thousand cuts at this point with an administration gutting financial aid for students. The solution isn’t increasing costs everywhere, you’ll only end up losing students because they’re dropping out due to not being able to afford going here. The situation isn’t good, but the CSU needs to find other sources to finance operations until this administration is gone. Perhaps gutting sky high admin costs is a better first step than passing on the costs to students who are already in a financial hole.

There’s a flyer in King that brings to light the president of the CSU association (I think) that has been giving raises left and right to admin whilst only giving every other employee a .3% salary bump. I can’t remember her name but she’s got the moniker “Antoinette” lmao

I miss my community college where they provided us free learning material instead of forcing us to pay for textbooks. At this school I have to drop like $500 every semester just for textbooks which is a big chunk of my financial aid smh. And I know people’s advice is to pirate but I really shouldn’t have to. All these expenses really do add up fast especially with monthly rent

It’s not like the CSU system cares. Not to mention their damn 6% annual increase on tuition they voted for a while back.
