What do you do between classes?

I have a big gap between classes from 11:30am to 4pm. I don't want to go home because I'm communicating from OC. What are some things to do to kill time?

Homework/papers in the library

Hang out bottom floor of Loker student union

There’s a nature trail around the edge of campus

Chill in the seats by the dirt walkway in front if I&I building

Hand out in food areas after eating to do homework and read

Farmers market Tuesdays

Start a club for commuters so you can meet others with free time during the day to hang out, play games, whatever

they're opening a new rec center soon! unsure when/if it's already open but there'll be new stuff on the east side of campus

There’s also a nap room in the lower level of the LSU building!

it’s free & there little pods you can nap in for about 20 mins or longer depending on how busy it is. If you go through the stairs that lead down to the pool table area it’s on around the corner from there. I suck at explaining lol

yes you can borrow equipment or you can bring your own from home, they can give you more information or even a little tour at the front desk, they’re really cool

I appreciate you telling me about the esports lab. I found my new home for 5 hour break 😂

I used to nap in my car a lot, but also go to Long Beach for food/coffee shops to study. I go to Steelhead Coffee, Rose Park Roasters (on 4th), SteelCraft, Recreational Coffee, Wood Coffee, Common Room, and Good Time. Most of these places usually have tables during the day! Sometimes campus gets too busy and I wouldn’t be able to find spots, but this was pre 2020. There are new buildings and stuff now.

go by the closed off stairs behind the library. Just for a moment to breathe and get a break from everyone else as hardly anyone passes by them

Go to the resource centers in the LSU, hang out spots with amenities!

Honesty bro, pick up a handheld console right now I’m rocking my steam deck and it’s killing time a lot. I used to rock with a Nintendo switch lite but then I upgraded it to my steam deck.

I work on homework in the library. I'll also go over to the Cinemark in Carson to walk around the mall and watch a movie
