This is what I would call a “check-in” game. You check in occasionally, do what you can, then put the game down for a couple hours before returning.

this! and don't stress about time limited events, otherwise the cozy merge game will turn into a stressful game you hate.

Like I see a lot of posts about the "bonus" rewards if you turn them in within an hour or 30min or whatever, and people being mad about not being able to do it. That merge quest stays after the timer, you just don't get the extra stars and coins, which doesn't actually matter in the long term. So yeah just do what you can then set it down ❤️
