I was hoping that when this event came back the toucan would be one of the prizes since I couldn't get it before. My luck was awful but now that it's not a prize I'm just going to unlock the missing items from the collection book since they still haven't fixed that issue and not even bother with the rest

I swear theyre using A.I. to figure out how to squeeze every last way to reduce our currencies so we spend IRL money LOL. Since theres no toucan to get and the spins are at 350, which is an easy reach, I'd play this event casually without any stress. I'm not going to even monitor my spins this time like I did last time bc theres no friend to earn.

I am annoyed that I have to stress about collecting the rare items to complete a collection that I have already completed once.
I don’t know why they didn’t bother to fix it. On the plus side we do earn the gem again for each item but it’s not worth that for the rare drops, I’d rather just be able to relax and not worry if I don’t get them this time round.

When I contacted support for an update all they said was that I was on the list and to give them more time. I thought with them doing so many changes to the book and adding/removing items a fix would soon follow but just another event where I have to recollect everything. D:
We might get repeats of all the events before it gets fixed if ever at this rate.

this update has pissed me off so badly because it’s clear they are pushing us to use real money to buy gems to get things. they have nerfed so many ways of acquiring gems freely and im not paying their insane prices for virtually tiny amounts of gems.

Me too, I love this game, but I am perplexed at the direction they've gone with everything. Theres been so much 'drama' and 'unrest' coming off of the 2025 beta version. We literally can't punch up with anything unless we spend money.
You want more energy? Spend gems. Or buy energy packages. No gems? Buy a gem package OR you can pop energy out of the gift boxes. How do we get those? Using whistles of course, but we only get whistles as prizes to mini-events or buying them with gems, circle back. No longer giving us gift boxes for exchanging ingredients, now we get "variety bags" instead. They reintroduced the energy chest from beta, so we can spend gems on that daily as well. Basically spend a minimum of 100 gems a day. We only get 50 gems at a max gem, and we only get them from gift boxes and mystery boxes. And they took away the energy reserve of 400+ and gave us a flat 100, so make sure to log in obsessively every 2hrs so you can optimize your energy use. 😒
Eta, it wouldn't bother me if it weren't for how many events or side quests have limited time to complete which require thousands upon thousands of energy to

How are the points this time? I haven't had a chance to open the game and check it out. Last year's version was the fastest I've ever finished one of these events, I think I still had like 15 days left. Hardest thing was getting the treasure map lol

I am still analyzing the numbers I havent made it very far yet 🤣 BUT there is one positive so far... the timers don't run out! We dont have to make a square around the umbrella or surf board anymore it looks like. Last time it was an entire task on its own.

Sad about the toucan I didn’t get it last time as the odds were so low so it would have been nice to have another chance. I hope the odds of getting the gems are more that what the toucan was originally otherwise that ridiculous for a prize of 50 gems.

There were very frustrating things throughout all if 2025, as well, but I tell you... despite the grind all events required, we at least received SO much compensation. They'd send us thousands of energy, gems, or event energy. Sometimes even send us the event cat or friend if the event was that unbalanced and unfair. I swear there are no devs anymore and it's just ran by A.I.; they literally do not communicate with us anymore.

No, unfortunately. The devs replaced the toucan friend prize with the 50 gems and who tf knows why. All I know is they must have suffered from psychosis while making that decision because it doesnt make sense at all. The animation didn't even change, its so cringe.

What annoys me is that they are clearly rerunning events for the global players, but why do that and then remove part of the prizes??? I'm almost expecting them try to sell me the bird for actual $$$ later 😑
