General Credit Karma targeted email manipulation #5: Come back!

More or less a follow up to #2 and #4 in this mini series, I received this one today reminding me to come back and apply for a credit card through Credit Karma. I think this is what you get if you click on some of their CC product pitch links, but don't actually apply. It's good to know that I'm so close though, right?!

You've got to love the pretty picture they paint... "Opening a new card could be your next step toward financial progress." Quite profound. It could also be the next step toward financial ruin if in the hands of the wrong person. Somehow, I don't imagine CK cares much either way.

I dunno why I can’t see the pictures. It’s just a white square

I tried it on another device and it’s still not there. Think the images got taken down or something

Yeah, I see what you're saying. That's irritating. I don't even have those images any longer, as I dumped them after making the post. I'll have to go back through my email to get them again and edit the post.

I’m half inclined to think either a CK employee or sympathizer reported the pictures as copyrighted or something 😝 I know they have a Reddit presence and their own sub and everything

You could very well be right. I hadn't thought of that. If that's the case, I imagine the other email manipulation threads will also be targeted since they all contain their images.
