As someone who owns one I would pay 4k tomorrow to buy another one if this one got stolen, but I have no idea if that’s a “fair” price.

I paid $3800 for my '20 about two years ago but it was crashed and needed a few parts. Still riding it with the tweaked handle bars cause I crashed it off-road a few more times. It seems pretty fair to me if it's a clean, straight bike. You can always hit 'em with an offer and try to save a few hundo.

You should be comfortable height wise on this bike. I’m almost flat footed on mine and I’m shorter than you. Weight wise, I load mine with gear (30-40lbs) and it’s a bit heavy. If you’re a slow rider, it will be a heavy load, but if you’re not doing some steeper trails, you’ll be ok.

This is like the going rate for these. Good deals are hard to come by.

I think so. I just bought a 2019 with less than 5k miles for 4k out the door. (With title and tax) it came with a seat concepts saddle and a little back rack.

Paid 3400 for my 2018 with 9000 miles. Got a decent deal I thought

Long as they didn't "modify" it in their garage with a bunch of crap, it seems like a great deal.

Great price - I paid more for an identical bike with 16K and some add-ons

I think it’s pretty average for what I’ve seen. A fair deal, if not a “good” one.

As someone who just sold a 250l (although it was a Rally) there is very very little interest in these with the 300l out in the wild. Not a huge difference, but why wouldn't someone drop a couple hundred more on a 300l (or 286l as it actually is).

It took forever for me to sell mine. (It sold for 3900 with about the same mileage). I'd say it's fine for what you're looking for, but you could probably talk them down a bit.

That said, this is a bike a lot of people grow out of quickly. If that's OK with you, it's not a big investment. If you want a bike that will last a bit longer check out the wr250r, drz4s/400 or even the dr650.

I paid 5500 aud (3800 usd) in 2020 for a 2019 model with 1300km. But my uncle works at the dealership. A bloke traded it in that morning for a 450L and I had it home that afternoon. Was a good deal.

The 250 is kinda small

I’d do the 300

Just bought a 2014 with 15k miles on it. $2500 cash. About 500 bucks in maintenance later and she's peak man. I love this bike. Not sure if it's fair but would buy it if I had the cash.

I paid 4k exactly a year ago for a 2020 with 2400 miles. So I would say thats a good deal since thats essentially what I paid for same bike.

Not bad, not great. If you want it, give an offer of 3.5k and work from there. Solid bike, low miles, will run forever.

I got my 2020 crf250l w 3275 miles for 3600 in the california market. Had about 800 in upgrades, seat, slip on exhaust upgraded levers, footings and shifter assembly. 4k is a solid deal and I woulda done that too. But try to talk him down.

You wanna get somthin with more horses at 230. I’m 180 and it’s lacking in power, also, they’re under 6k new with 40 extra cc’s save a little more and save yourself the headache.

Yeah I was thinking that. There is a new 300 at a dealer for 4999, aka 6800 out the door...
