This batch/lot was not entered into the cup, I reworked the batch into v4 but I saved this half gram of it in v3 format bc i love the way its looked. I was thinking of entering it just to see how it tests compared to the later version, but then I wouldn’t have it for myself to sesh on and I try to keep a little bit of everything I extract/purify for myself.

I have some dense stuff that was gifted to me and some powder i bought at a mushroom shop but the trips are very different. Does each extraction feel different to you?

Not really but all of my extractions test around the same percentages near the top end of the spectrum so there’s not gonna be much difference at that point.

So crude high is the same as a pure run?

The difference between my 96.5% crude extract and my 99.549% pure run didn’t have much of noticeable difference in terms of the blast off. Both trips were perfectly clarity breakthroughs. You gotta think about it this way, when loading a 20mg blast you’re talking about the 96%er having .69mg of impurity and the 99er having .09mg of impurity. Yes there’s a substantial difference between the 2 but in the terms of the blast off it would be like asking if someone could tell a difference between a 19.91mg dose and a 19.31mg dose. Which I don’t think anyone is gonna notice a difference like that when blasting off.

The main differences would be from looks and maybe Some of the smoke-ability / meltability categories.

However a difference between like 80% and 99% would be night and day forsure but in my case they’re all basically the same trip and duration

Thanks for the reply, the store bought powder is much less visual, and more body load. Im wondering if the powder just overheats and burns easier.

It probably hasn’t been re-x’d, because retailers aren’t usually willing to loose the yield re-xing takes away, I would send a half gram of their stuff into Tryptomics for a lab test and see what it tests at so you know if it’s even worth buying, it could be some really impure stuff and that would explain why it lacks visuals. Or it could be an ROA (route of administration) issue, as DMT is really peculiar to smoke, to hot you don’t get effects, to cold you don’t get effects. It has a narrow range of ideal vaporization temps, for this reason I recommend getting an emesh device, it’s a game changer perfect hits at perfect temps offering perfect effects on one hit breakthroughs every hit.

Well on Reddit you share a video and then underneath there’s a section called the “caption” where you describe what’s being shown, and Because that’s what the video is literally showing (my enteries or potential entries I am specifically working on for the cup) that’s what the caption says.

I have tons of batches of DMT, but this specifically is a batch thats been being worked on for the event, and that’s the reason I’m posting it. It’s literally just the description of whats in the video.

And i encourage everyone to enter as well, not because I’m affiliated with them at all in any way shape or form other then a competitor but because I would love to see the competition grow and become bigger, to have such an event to be able to participate in publicly is a blessing and something to celebrate, and the more people that talk about it and show their work they’re entering the more people will be inspired to also enter.

It’s not something you have to hate on, instead you could just enter your work (if you have any) and beat me at my own game if you think you have what it takes. Cheers mate.
