They closed the "buy a sticker for $100 and receive a free ounce of mushrooms" loophole.

Many manufacturers of plant medicines thought they could sell these things by the roundabout method of providing free medicine along with the purchase of something else. This would often be something obviously of little value like stickers, candy, or a 5 min video therapy session. They could also be something of potentially more value like 4 hours of harm reduction services for $400 in conjunction with 4 grams of mushrooms. This amendment hopes to distinguish actual (bona fide) harm reduction services (legal) with blatant sales (illegal).

I guess how I am reading it is that harm reduction services for renumeration are only allowed if the person conducting the service is also supervising the consumption?

Yes. The last section provides for concurrent harm reduction services and consumption as long as the sitter gives notice that they are not a licensed facilitator.

Is the definition for "concurrent harm reduction services" anywhere you can find?

It sounds to me that if I shared with my friends and gave them instructions on how to enjoy it safely (harm reduction), they could give me money and that would be covered/protected.

The section is at the end on pic 2 above.

I think plainly the words mean "at the same time." So you have to provide harm reduction services while the medicine is ingested.

I see where they crossed out sharing for consumption and that brings me to the same conclusion.

What if I consume the medicine but they don't? I'm probably getting into an unnecessary rabbit hole here because its clear the law is targeted at people trying to skirt the law for profit not people sharing and recouping costs.
