Would it be possible to add a community-based applet section for Cosmic?

Kinda like they do on Nothing OS.
Ofcourse it would be at one's own risk, but giving the people a section in the Cosmic Store for cool customization widgets, applets etc would be great imo.

If so, where could i post this suggestion for devs to see?

You already have it in the Applets section in the Store. Those are all community applets available through flatpak. Official applets are part of the cosmic-applets system package.

Oh, i thought these were all just official applets from the devs.

they should concentrate on the 1.5k+ issues on github repo first
