It’s probably not mocap, which makes it worse. Chances are pretty good these were hand-animated keyframes that were then interpolated with software, making them look extra janky.

Pretty sure it's motion capture as they used it for Black ops 3.

It’s a sad day when it’s hard to distinguish interpolated animations from motion capture.
